1. Introdução
Boas-vindas ao DocScan (o "App"), publicado pela Demerzel Studio LLC ("nós"). Ao baixar, instalar ou usar o DocScan, você concorda com estes Termos de Uso ("Termos"). Se não concordar com estes Termos, não use o App.
2. Descrição do serviço
O DocScan é um aplicativo para digitalizar documentos no iOS e no Android. Com o App, você pode:
- Digitalizar documentos com a câmera do aparelho
- Editar documentos digitalizados com filtros, rotação e recorte
- Exportar documentos em PDF, JPG ou PNG, sem marca d'água em nenhum plano
- Organizar documentos em pastas e subpastas
- Fazer backup dos documentos em um arquivo local, protegido por senha se você quiser
- Compartilhar documentos pelo menu de compartilhamento do aparelho
O App não exige conta. Seus documentos ficam guardados no seu aparelho.
Versão grátis e publicidade
A versão grátis é mantida por anúncios não personalizados do Google AdMob. Nenhum anúncio aparece nos 3 primeiros dias depois da instalação. Qualquer plano pago (Mensal, Anual ou Vitalício) remove todos os anúncios. Veja na Política de Privacidade o que o SDK de anúncios processa.
A versão grátis inclui OCR (reconhecimento óptico de caracteres) no aparelho e busca pelo texto reconhecido, sem limite por mês.
Recursos Premium
Qualquer plano pago inclui:
- Nenhum anúncio
- Criação e posicionamento de assinatura digital
- Exportação do texto reconhecido para Word (.docx)
- Remoção de sombras e divisão de páginas de livro
- Bloqueio do app por biometria (Face ID ou impressão digital)
- Sincronização opcional de pastas com o seu próprio iCloud Drive (iOS) ou Google Drive (Android) (veja a Seção 4)
Mensal, Anual e Vitalício incluem exatamente os mesmos recursos.
3. Condições da assinatura
Preços
- Mensal: US$ 1,99 por mês (R$ 5,90 no Brasil)
- Anual: US$ 9,99 por ano (R$ 24,90 no Brasil)
- Vitalício: US$ 19,99 em pagamento único (R$ 59,90 no Brasil)
Os preços em outras lojas são definidos localmente pela Apple ou pelo Google e podem ser diferentes.
Compra vitalícia
O Vitalício é uma compra única que não se renova. Ele libera todos os recursos premium e remove os anúncios para sempre.
Cobrança
As assinaturas são cobradas pela App Store da Apple ou pela Google Play Store. O pagamento é cobrado na sua conta da App Store ou da Play Store quando a compra é confirmada. A assinatura se renova automaticamente, a menos que a renovação automática seja desligada pelo menos 24 horas antes do fim do período atual.
Gerenciamento
Você pode gerenciar ou cancelar a assinatura nas configurações de assinatura do seu aparelho:
- iOS: Ajustes → Apple ID → Assinaturas
- Android: Play Store → Assinaturas
Para restaurar uma compra em um aparelho novo ou redefinido, use "Restaurar compras" nos Ajustes do App ou na tela de planos. A restauração usa a sua conta da App Store ou da Play Store; o DocScan não tem conta própria.
Reembolsos
Pedidos de reembolso são tratados pela Apple ou pelo Google, conforme a política de reembolso de cada um.
4. Processamento no aparelho
Todos os recursos do App, inclusive o OCR e toda a edição, rodam no seu aparelho. O App não tem processamento na nuvem e não transmite seus documentos para nós. Um documento só sai do seu aparelho quando você decide compartilhá-lo, enviá-lo por e-mail ou salvá-lo em outro lugar, ou quando você ativa a sincronização de pastas opcional (Premium) em uma pasta.
Sincronização de pastas (opcional, Premium)
Quando você ativa a sincronização de uma pasta, os documentos dela são copiados em mão única, como PDFs, para o seu próprio iCloud Drive (iOS) ou Google Drive (Android). Esse armazenamento é fornecido pela Apple ou pelo Google, sob os termos deles e com a sua própria conta e cota; o DocScan não o opera e não responde pela disponibilidade dele. A sincronização exige um plano Premium ativo: sem ele, as alterações pendentes ficam esperando até o Premium voltar a ficar ativo. A sincronização é de mão única: apagar ou editar um arquivo na sua nuvem nunca altera o documento no App, e desligar a sincronização nunca apaga os arquivos que já estão na sua nuvem.
5. Seu conteúdo
- Você mantém todos os direitos de propriedade sobre seus documentos e digitalizações
- Todos os documentos ficam guardados localmente no seu aparelho
- Não acessamos, coletamos nem guardamos o conteúdo dos seus documentos (veja a Seção 4)
6. Uso aceitável
Você concorda em não usar o App para:
- Digitalizar ou processar conteúdo ilegal
- Burlar limites de uso ou exigências de assinatura
- Fazer engenharia reversa, descompilar ou desmontar o App
- Qualquer finalidade que viole a lei aplicável
7. Propriedade intelectual
O DocScan e seu conteúdo original, recursos e funcionalidades pertencem à Demerzel Studio LLC e são protegidos por leis internacionais de direitos autorais, de marcas e de outros direitos de propriedade intelectual.
8. Isenção de garantias
O APP É FORNECIDO "NO ESTADO EM QUE SE ENCONTRA" E "CONFORME DISPONÍVEL", SEM GARANTIAS DE QUALQUER TIPO, EXPRESSAS OU IMPLÍCITAS. NÃO GARANTIMOS QUE O APP FUNCIONE SEM INTERRUPÇÕES, SEM ERROS OU LIVRE DE COMPONENTES NOCIVOS.
9. Limitação de responsabilidade
NA MÁXIMA EXTENSÃO PERMITIDA PELA LEI APLICÁVEL, A DEMERZEL STUDIO LLC NÃO SERÁ RESPONSÁVEL, EM NENHUMA HIPÓTESE, POR DANOS INDIRETOS, INCIDENTAIS, ESPECIAIS, CONSEQUENCIAIS OU PUNITIVOS DECORRENTES DO USO DO APP OU RELACIONADOS A ELE.
10. Mudanças nos Termos
Podemos modificar estes Termos a qualquer momento. As mudanças passam a valer quando publicadas no App ou no nosso site. Continuar usando o App depois das mudanças significa aceitar os Termos atualizados.
11. Lei aplicável
Estes Termos são regidos pelas leis dos Estados Unidos, sem prejuízo dos direitos garantidos pelo Código de Defesa do Consumidor a usuários no Brasil.

1. Introduction
Welcome to DocScan ("the App"), published by Demerzel Studio LLC ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using DocScan, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Service Description
DocScan is a mobile document scanning application for iOS and Android. The App allows you to:
- Scan documents using your device's camera
- Edit scanned documents with filters, rotation, and cropping
- Export documents as PDF, JPG, or PNG, with no watermark on any plan
- Organize documents into folders and subfolders
- Back up documents to a local file, optionally protected by a password
- Share documents via your device's share sheet
The App does not require an account. Your documents are stored on your device.
Free Version and Advertising
The free version is supported by non-personalized ads from Google AdMob. No ads are shown during the first 3 days after installation. Any paid plan (Monthly, Annual or Lifetime) removes all ads. See the Privacy Policy for what the ad SDK processes.
The free version includes unlimited on-device OCR (optical character recognition) and search by recognized text, with no monthly limit.
Premium Features
Any paid plan includes:
- No ads
- Digital signature creation and placement
- Export of recognized text to Word (.docx)
- Shadow removal and book page splitting
- Biometric app lock (Face ID or fingerprint)
- Optional folder sync to your own iCloud Drive (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) (see Section 4)
Monthly, Annual and Lifetime include exactly the same features.
3. Subscription Terms
Pricing
- Monthly: US$1.99/month (R$ 5,90 in Brazil)
- Annual: US$9.99/year (R$ 24,90 in Brazil)
- Lifetime: US$19.99 one-time purchase (R$ 59,90 in Brazil)
Prices in other storefronts are set locally by Apple or Google and may differ.
Lifetime Purchase
Lifetime is a one-time purchase that does not renew. It unlocks every premium feature and removes ads permanently.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Management
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's subscription settings:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
- Android: Play Store → Subscriptions
To restore a purchase on a new or reset device, use "Restore Purchases" in the App's Settings or on the plans screen. Restoring uses your App Store or Play Store account; DocScan has no account of its own.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.
4. On-Device Processing
Every feature of the App, including OCR and all editing, runs on your device. The App has no cloud processing feature and does not transmit your documents to us. A document only leaves your device when you choose to share, e-mail or save it elsewhere, or when you turn on the optional folder sync (Premium) for a folder.
Folder sync (optional, Premium)
When you turn on sync for a folder, its documents are copied one way, as PDFs, to your own iCloud Drive (iOS) or Google Drive (Android). That storage is provided by Apple or Google under their own terms and your own account and quota; DocScan does not operate it and is not responsible for its availability. Sync needs an active Premium plan: without it, pending changes wait until Premium is active again. Sync is one way: deleting or editing a file in your cloud never changes the document in the App, and turning sync off never deletes files already in your cloud.
5. User Content
- You retain all ownership rights to your documents and scans
- All documents are stored locally on your device
- We do not access, collect, or store your document content (see Section 4)
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Scan or process illegal content
- Circumvent usage limits or subscription requirements
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any purpose that violates applicable law
7. Intellectual Property
DocScan and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Demerzel Studio LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DEMERZEL STUDIO LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted in the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without prejudice to the rights granted to users in Brazil by the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code.
