Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ânimo (the "App"), published by Demerzel Studio LLC ("Demerzel Studio", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. License to use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. This license is limited by, and subject to, the usage rules of the App Store or Google Play, whichever store you downloaded the App from. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by Demerzel Studio.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Ânimo offers an optional premium subscription ("Ânimo Plus") that unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed and managed by the App Store or Google Play, not by us directly:

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• You cancel through your App Store or Google Play account settings — we cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies, not by Demerzel Studio. We have no visibility into, or control over, refund decisions made by the store.
• Prices, trial periods, and offer terms are those shown at the time of purchase in the store's checkout flow.

4. User content

Ânimo lets you write and save your own quotes inside the App. This content is stored locally on your device — we do not receive, host, or have access to it. You are solely responsible for anything you write, and you retain all rights to it. Deleting the App deletes this content.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code except as permitted by law; (c) interfere with or disrupt the App's operation, including any anti-abuse or licensing mechanism; or (d) use the App to create, store, or share content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes the rights of others.

6. Disclaimer

Ânimo provides motivational quotes for general encouragement and inspiration only. The App is not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for professional mental-health care. If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis or need medical or psychological support, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. Demerzel Studio does not review App content for clinical accuracy or suitability for any individual's mental or emotional condition.

The App and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Demerzel Studio and its members and personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the App, including any reliance on its content. Our total aggregate liability arising from your use of the App is limited to the amount you paid us for the App (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United States.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
